Having bad experiences with your existing operator and thinking of change to new mobile operator in Malaysia? Is as simple as 123. Consider this step.

1.Do you have any contract with your current mobile operator(Maxis,Digi,Celcom,U Mobile,Tune Talk … )?If yes. Kindly stay with your current operator or u have to pay for the remaining contract for example x remaining  months contract. If no, Step 2.

2.Purchase a prepaid sim card that you wish to use. And check out the services meet your expectation at your favourite travelling/moving zone.

Maxis just offer new Postpaid plans called Value Plus Internet. To me this is the best package that meet customer with low demand on mobile internet usage. But if you accidentally use more that the offer data package, you might have to pay even more.

Maxis Value Plus Internet Plan

Maxis Value Plus Internet Plan

But for me, I find this plan cannot compete with U mobile Unlimited Mobile Internet Prepaid plan at RM28. Coverage for U mobile might not as good as Maxis but they do offer nationwide coverage with Celcom Edge network as a way to meet customer requirement.

U Mobile Unlimited Internet Plan

U Mobile Unlimited Internet Plan

Which one will you like? Make your choice… :) Both plan is good for beginners who started to use mobile internet. But DO REMEMBER Maxis will charge you more if you exceed the offer data value Quota upgrade is the other option for cheaper internet price. Price vs experience…:)

Refer to our previous post, we successfully spotted the link created by Maxis but i think due to other operator are not ready to offer the iPhone 4s that is the reason why it delay the registration portal.

Get yourself register for the new iphone 4S. But is it only Maxis offer this plan? NOPE. Celcom and Digi also announce.

Why pay more for your phone bill? Internet, voice calls and sms one month easily cost you RM80 and above. Don’t you think is very expensive? Let me share with you this mobile plan that quite attractvice. U mobile!
U mobile currently offer a very attractive mobile internet package. I personally find itvery attractive and meet my usage behaviour. And the price is cheap. With HSPA connection unlimited usage and Domestic Roaming with (Celcom network) to ensure subscribers have the coverage while they are expanding their network. If you sign up with the RM28 unlimited plan free 100 mins voice call and 30 sms. But one thing you have to consider is their coverage. If you are out of klang valley. Then you might be having lower data transfer rate as you will roam into celcom edge GPRS network. But if you have not using streaming service like watch youtube.

Beside this, if you visit singapore and malaysia frequently. This will be the best plan for you. They also offer roaming package where you pay Singapore local charges(not roaming rate) when you visit to Singapore.
If you are tourist and most of the time visiting staying in Kuala Lumpur(Klang Valley),Penang and Johor this Sim card suit you the most as you can communicate with your friends and family with your smartphone buy using skype and other applications.

If you doubt about the quality, consider to buy a simcard a the nearest 7-11 store(Malaysia) for testing the connection before you do MNP mobile number portability to U Mobile.

Kindly take this consideration before you sign up with any mobile operator.
1. Network coverage. If too many users in the specific area, you might not enjoy good user experiences.
2. Price. Are you using XX GB data with your mobile phone? Why pay more?
3. Voice quality. If you are using Mobile Phone the most important thing is to ensure you can make/receive voice call at most of the time.
4. Try before you buy. The prepaid sim card is pretty cheap in Malaysia. Why dun get a prepaid simcard and try it out before you sign for any mobile plan?

Follow us and remember to come back to visit my blog where i will share how to more about mobile internet stuffs with you.If you find this article is good, share with your friends.
